Special Delivery Parcel Stuck At A Depot

Hi. I've sent a package via RM recently and it's stuck at a depot for 6 days. The buyer hasn't opened a case yet, but if he/she chooses to open an INR case, where do I stand?

Without delivery being shown you would have to refund if the buyer opens a non receipt case

If the item was later delivered you would have to arrange repayment with the buyer outside of eBay using Paypal, bank transfer or similar

I was told by CS because it's special delivery, eBay was to refund the buyer. I wasn't sure then. So, I came here to ask. So, I'm not covered by this?

Not if you used your own postage of Royal Mail Special Delivery, eBay only covers items sent with eBay Simple Delivery.
