Someone trying to scam me after highest bid win

Hi there- my item was listed as auction only, but the winning bidder is trying to get me to contact them outside of eBay and only sending screenshots of text instead of actually writing in the chat. They are obviously trying to scam me and have no intention of paying, so I would like to offer my item to the next highest bidder but am I able to cancel the bid and offer it to the next highest bidder before the 4 day payment waiting period happens?? It is clear this buyer has no intention of buying despite winning the bid, so rather than relist the item again and losing any fees can I just cancel their 'order' now for non-payment and offer it to another bidder? Thank you for any help!

you can only cancel for non-payment after 4 full days.

Where are they sending these screenshots? If they are sending them to your ebay messages I would be contacting ebay and reporting them for attempting to deprive ebay of their selling fees, while pointing out the messages to them. You could also ask ebay to cancel the sale for you.

Once the item has been cancelled you should see the second chance offer option.
