Sold two items, messaging isn't working to either buyer, and they can't message me either!

I sold 2 items today, both collection only. I've tried to message both buyers but just get a 'message not sent' I've tried multiple times with various messages text.

One buyer has paid, and it looks like messaging isn't working for them either, but they've put some text in buyer notes.

I have no way of replying though!

Any help appreciated, I've sent a bug form to ebay

Messages containing contact details are blocked by ebay prior to payment.    If the one has only just paid it will probably take a while for the system to update and allow contact.

I've just last minute sent a message,  so it's not a site issue.

Which device  broorwser are you  using?  I'm on a laptop with Chrome no issue there. 

Are you using the app or mobile browser?  Might be worth switching if you can,  to desktop and try Chrome,  it works best with eBay,  try from there.

Thanks, there wasn't any contact information on any of the messages I've
sent.

There was address information in the first one, but I've tried to send
other messages since then with no luck.

So i've cleared my cache in Chrome, and also tried MS Edge but still get the same error.

In both Chrome and Edge i get this pointless empty box with a blue i icon that does absolutely nothing: 

On my android phone i get a 'message not sent' message instead, which is equally as helpful!

If so, that blue arrow should not be lit blue.

After writing your message click on the blue arrow, and it should turn grey, and your message appears above in a big blue box.

When i click on the arrow, the arrow remains blue and the empty box appears.

Which method of sending messages are you using.

Instead of messaging through the sale, have you tried the contact link on the buyers feedback pages?

We'll see if the buyers get the messages but sending via their contact link seems to have worked, thanks.

When i click on 'Contact' then select an item, it doesn't work, but if i don't select an item, then it does work.

it's going to make trying to organise the collection a pain, hopefully they can at least see my address details so i only have to sort out times etc!
