So I quite like the idea of Simple Postage, it makes it cheaper for posting more valuable items and the items are covered for loss and damage.
However, I can't seem to find any guidance/policy on what eBay would expect in terms of packaging for items to be eligible for damage protection?
I always take lots of photos of the packaging when I sent anything expensive, and stick to the guidance offered by the carrier (companies like UPS have VERY specific requirements to be covered if sending particular items).
If there isn't any guidance, will they just go by the carrier's packaging policies/guidance (e.g. Evri or Royal Mail), or will it just be judged on a case-by-case basis with photos of the damaged packaging?
