There is obviously a lot of confusion surrounding this new 'simple delivery' scheme, and I'm just as much confused as many others. If it's the seller offering 'free postage' to the buyer (which I'm happy to do), then it's the seller buying the postage label from Ebay, not the buyer.
In which case, if there's a problem with the label provided by Ebay that it cannot be used (for not covering the correct weight, etc), will it be possible to cancel that label and get a correct one issued that CAN be used to send the item correctly?? All I seem to be seeing right now is people being told that the new 'simple delivery' labels CAN'T be cancelled and Ebay WON'T issue a refund on these labels that can't be used. So the seller ends up having to pay postage costs twice in order to get the item posted, and then can't get refunded for the unused label/s. The same seems to apply if it's the buyer paying postage. It seems absurd that this is happening to anyone in the first place, and we need answers. So can we have this situation clarified please?? Either from the mentors or Ebay direct?? Thank you.
