Short payment from Ebay!"

I just sold an item for a modest £10 incl postage. Ebay has only credited me with £7.28. This is the second time this has happened in the last 10 days. Any ideas?

Your listing is with free postage so you, the seller pay for postage.

The 'missing' £2.72 is the charge for the Simple Delivery postage label supplied by Ebay for you to use to post the item.

If you don't use the Simple Delivery label, you have to claim the money back from Ebay.

You have to claim within 14 days, completing a separate form for each claim, and you need to add an alternative tracking number in order to get your refund.

The details of how to claim are below. However, as a private seller, Simple Delivery is mandatory on your listings.  You should read about how Simple Delivery works even if you plan to continue buying your own postage.
