Shell Aldershot UK - do not use for parcel drop/collection

This ebay collection point at Shell Aldershot, 400 High St., UK did not accept a royal mail medium size parcel i sent to a buyer claiming there was no room for it (a lie apparently). They are claiming to be an ebay drop off point. This meant RM returned box to sender (me) and I had to post it again to a different address at my cost, although I've asked ebay to cover my cost and that appeal is pending at time of writing.

Some employee at Shell refusing a parcel caused a lot of needless hassle for both sender and buyer.

Have advised ebay of this. Advise avoiding this location for ebay drop/collection.

Some drop off locations are being unindated with parcels they simply don't have the space to accommodate at this time of the year,so that may well be the reason,however, it will be interesting to hear the outcome with ebay on this as some collection points are unavailable,despite ebay showing they are!!!

I have read several posts over the last months that despite a store being on C&C list,

they no longer accept any ebay parcels.

No one has come back to tell us the outcome after reporting to ebay.

That's worrying, from now on thinking I'll buy the postage for any c+c addresses independent of the ebay system, i.e  royal mail website direct, so there's nothing on the package label to say it's an ebay item.

In this case ultimately Shell should be doing better, just opt out if the logistics of c+c are too difficult.
