On my Share Feedback page, I have a reminder to leave feedback for a buyer, the buyer didn't pay, the sale was eventually cancelled by ebay. On the reminder, the only option is to leave positive feedback which I obviously don't want to do. is there any way to remove the reminder?

Those feedback reminders are just automatic,   we all get them and yes,  some of the time they do not apply to the item at all.

Feedback is entirely voluntary so neither party needs to leave any, and most people do not leave any.

Just delete and ignore that reminder, like everyone else does.
