HI
I put an item on sale on eBay, I got a buyer who had placed a payment for the item. The buyer came to my address to collect the item as mentioned in the description. I need to get a collection code from the buyer, I contacted the buyer several times, no response. eBay contacted me to say that I needed to resolve the item sold. eBay wanted tracking ID, and I informed them that I was unable to provide them with a tracking ID as the item was collected by the buyer. I informed eBay that the person whom collected the item was a fraudster. Based on that eBay decided to award the buyer their money back, even though the item was collected in person. I have contacted eBay on several occasion but they have failed to respond to me. I feel that I have been unfairly treated by eBay and would like to take this further. I would be grateful if someone would be able to provide me with an email address or how I can take this further. Many thanks

Why did Ebay refund the buyer?
Did the buyer open a case to say they had not received their item?

That would be my guess!
Just shows how we are right to tell people not to hand over the item without getting the code first.

Not that I am aware of.
I argued the case with eBay and told them that the buyer was a fraudster.
However they still gave the buyer their money.
Your buyer must have opened a case or they wouldn't have received a refund.
What first made you contact ebay to report them as a fraudster?

I completely agree. But you can still contact the buyer and ask for the
collection code and input it in manually. I am disgusted in eBay in how
they favour the buyer over the seller.
Yes you can do that, but if you do it after collection you are taking a huge risk.
You are a new seller, you have now learned that ebay favours the buyer and does so 99% of the time.

To go back to your original question, there is probably no way to take this further.
We are other members like you and don't have access to your account or any messages between you and Ebay so we can't see the full picture.
Ebay might hold a buyer's payment for a period of time if there was no evidence of postage or collection but generally, they would only refund a buyer if they opened a case. If this had happened, there would be emails from Ebay. Initially telling you they buyer had opened a case, then informing you the buyer had been refunded.
If you could screenshot either ot those emails from Ebay, it might help those trying to advise you.
You say you have 'contacted Ebay several times' but generally, if they message you, they are 'no reply emails' and the only reliable way of contacting Ebay is to get a callback.
You have other 'collection only' items available for sale. You must only let a buyer take an item away after they have provided the collection code and you are happy that it is correct. No code, no goods.

There isn't a way to take this further. You'll need to chalk this one up as a learning curve and then make sure that it doesn't happen again with some of your more expensive collection items.
eBay haven't treated you unfairly - you must not hand over collection items without first getting the code from the buyer when they turn up. You input the code and this is your proof that the buyer has collected their item, and they cannot then claim that they haven't.

As has been pointed out you have other items for sale as collection items.
When these items sell and payment received, at that point contact information can be exchanged, I would also then send a message to the buyer reminding them politely, to bring that 6 digit collection code with them when collecting, because without it, you cannot release the item.
