Item not in purchases

I purchased an item last week, I have gone to check status in purchasing and it is no longer there to see. I have an email received Friday stating it has been shipped? Could this be a fraudulent order? Any advice would be appreciated

If you bought the item referenced in the email then you probably bought it as a guest.   You can check what this means in Ebay's help pages.

Sounds like this was a Guest Purchase, and  as your eBay account is not used , there will be nothing there,  in your Purchas History.
