I have an item which I have advertised to sell globally but a buyer from Canada can not process the payment for an item as a message says I do not ship to their country…

Not all your items have international postage.

You have enabled international bids but haven't added a postage charge
You can send your buyer an invoice with the additional charge as they haven't yet paid

Here's how to send a revised invoice with that international postage:
Go right of the item sold to More Actions, and select Send payment Details, amend the International postage there to that required, but do not click on reset. Check it is correct, and send .
If you are on the Seller Hub, you click on the item in Orders >> Awaiting Payment, then top left you will see send Invoice, follow the above instructions.
You will need a laptop / PC and not the app or mobile browser to manage the above.
