Selling to someone with 0 reviews

Hi , I'm selling a expensive laptop in the discrption I stated that I will only send to buyers with good reviews.

The buyer is new joined 2024 and has no reviews, I've googled the address and it's in Google maps

I understand we all have to start with no reviews but I'm just concerned I don't want anything to go wrong, has anyone got any advice on what to do? Do I have to stick to getting a postage label from eBay or can I get my own special signed for one ?

Any advice would be great thank you

Re: Selling to someone with 0 reviews

You could cause more problems if you don't use the ebay label.   ebay's Simple Delivery automatically covers sellers for up to £750 for loss or damage in transit.

But if you're worried about the buyer you can cancel using the reason "Issue with buyer's address".   That's the nearest we have.    It's done via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list.

Only what I've read on here.   I would be happier if the buyer had some feedback to go on.   You just have to go with your gut.

Sorry to say but it cuts both ways.

you the seller find the a buyer dubious because they have no feedback, so don't want to honour the transaction.

However, you as a seller have a very bad 93.3% rating and negative feedback because you failed to honour a transaction and have also left a false positive saying you felt the buyer was going to be trouble so decided not to honour the transaction.

Not having feedback is one thing but eBay don't like unreliable sellers who attack buyers.
