Seller wont respond

I placed a order then straight away asked to cancel.  3 days I've been asking now & the seller won't respond now it's been delivered.  I don't want it & why should I pay to return.

Sellers do not have to agree to cancel, although business seller should.

If seller accepts change of mind return, you can return at your cost.

Otherwise sell it on yourself.

adding to the advice already given -

As they are a business seller they were obliged to cancel, especially as you asked immediately.

Contact eBay Customer Services explain this was a UK registered Business and how they proceeded when asked for a cancellation.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

eBay doesn't require sellers to cancel sales. As your seller has now delivered the item your rights depend upon whether they are registered n the UK or abroad.

If they're a UK registered business seller they are required to by law to accept returns for internet sales, and their returns policy has to be to accept them. You will be responsible for the cost of return.

If the seller is abroad UK laws won't apply to them. You will need to check their returns policy. It's also important to check where the item was located. If they accept returns and it was located in the UK, eBay will only require it to be returned to a UK address provided by the seller. If it was delivered direct from abroad (almost always China!) the seller can insist on it being returned to China. The cost is often too high to be worth bothering - which is why sellers in China often disregard cancellation requests, knowing that the buyer probably won't return it.

You have not lost your payment, you have what you paid for.

Never wise to buy, pay and instantly change your mind. You can of course leave feedback.
