Hi Ebay community,
I made a purchase one week ago I no longer want or require the item. However the seller is refusing to accept the return.
The item is unused and I no linger have a need to use it. I have contact the seller and explained my intention to seek a refund thry are refusing.
I wish to flag an appeal on the seller with ebay citing satisfaction guaranteed policy.
How would I do this?
Best Wishes

eBay doesn't have a satisfaction guaranteed policy. They have a money back guarantee policy for items that are not as described. This doesn't cover purchases that you no longer want.
The important question is what is your seller's returns policy? This will be stated in the listing page.
If they accept returns, eBay will help you to enforce this. If their policy is "no returns accepted" they are entitled to refuse your request - you accepted this when you bid for the item.

Only business sellers on ebay are supposed to accept "change of mind" returns, private sellers do not have to. If the latter you could resell it yourself.

Thank you peaseblossom for taking time to read my query. The seller is being unscrupulous its a wrongly displayed picture on his listing. There is more container void (glass) than contents in the item being sold. I think ebay should escalate my observation I have used other cosmetics products and this buyer is not following any other merchants example. Just being difficult

You must open a not as described case to return at sellers expense for a refund.
That is the correct way to deal with it, ebay will only get involved if you have to escalate the case because seller did not respond.
In your original question you made no mention of problem with purchase, just that you no longer needed it.

As advised, if the item is not as described in the listing, you can start a return case.
Ebay give you 30 days from receipt to start a return.
The buyer cannot refuse a return if the item is not the one you expected.
If you had already opened a return stating that you no longer wanted or needed the item, that was your only chance.
You can't open a second case.
To request a return, select the item you want to send back from your recent purchases above, or use the button below. You can also start a return request from your Purchases in My eBay.
