Seller is scamming me in a way

Seller made me pay twice for an item after I told him to not accept the offer

here is what happen.. seller was selling an item but had 2 different measurements which got me confused, so I sent an offer and noticed I should Cancel because I might get scammed, I thought he had cancelled it and sent me a another offer but turns out I paid for it twice, how do I return it

I do not think it is possible to pay twice, as ebay would only issue one invoice.

If somehow you have paid twice, then it is up to seller to refund.
