Hi. Is anyone able to help?
On 23 September I purchased an item as a Christmas gift. When it was opened at Christmas, it was found to have a manufacturing fault. I contacted the seller who agreed it was faulty.
As it was outside the automated refund period, I politely mentioned the item 'not being fit for purpose' and they agreed to a refund. I had numerous messages with them, explaining I paid using my DD card, but now they are blanking me. I've not received anything.
What now? Under the Consumer Act 2015, I am entitled to a refund. But I really don't want to pursue legal action for £7.99. But it's the principle.
I contacted Ebay but they didn't want to know.
