Seller cancelled and blamed buyer

I've had a cancellation come through for an item I bought.

The reason on it says "at buyer's request". I didn't request the cancellation, I would still like the item.

I've messaged the seller who just said they don't have time to post it, so cancelled the order.

Life happens, I get that, but this feels like they're letting me take the blame so they avoid negative feedback.

Can I raise this with Ebay? If so, how?

Re: Seller cancelled and blamed buyer

Yes,  you can raise it with eBay as this is very bad selling.

Explain you did not authorise this cancellation, and were very disappointed not to receive your item.

eBay will  place a damaging defect on their account.  It doesn't take many defects for eBay to remove a seller permanently from their site.  eBay do not like unhappy buyers,  they tend not to come back to their site to buy.

To contact Customer Services  the quickest way is through this link below.

You can select a Live Chat or a Call Back option is available when the lines are not busy.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends

I do recommend contacting very first thing when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
