Seller asking me to resubmit a cancellation

Seller is saying they have a problem with my cancellation and to request again. When I try it is saying seller declined my request. Any ideas please

Seller could have cancelled without any further action from you, but is not obliged to cancel.

 If a business seller you can return at your expense for a refund.

If a private seller, unless there is a genuine reason to return for not as described, the answer is to sell it yourself.

It seems the seller refused your first cancellation,  you only get one go and now the option for them to cancel will have been removed.
