Seller Sent Wrong Item and Refuses Full Refund – What Can I Do?

Hi everyone,

I recently ordered leggings in size M on eBay, but the seller sent me size L. When I contacted them, they admitted the mistake but only offered a small partial refund, telling me to sell the item myself. I requested a full refund, but they refused.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What’s the best way to get my money back? Should I open a case with eBay support? Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Look to open return request with ebay here, citing item not as described, and the seller should then send you a prepaid return label and refund you within 3 days of getting the leggings back.

If the seller doesn't send a label or refund within 30 days of the return case being opened, you can escalate the case to ebay after 3 days for a refund.
