I posted an item to a buyer using tracked delivery with Royal Mail. They have received it and left me positive feedback, but the item is not marked as delivered yet, so my funds are currently suspended.
Is it easiest for me to approach Royal Mail about this?

Seems it could be an issue with this new Buyers Protection Fee rules, as eBay's tracking for one, is slow to update, and if Royal Mail have not scanned the items correctly would delay that payout.
You could try Royal Mail, but if you do and have a success please come back and tell us as said others have faced this, would be nice to have an answer to this common problem.
Now your item's payout may be subject to a 14 day hold, unless the tracking updates, then the payout will be available 2 days after the delivery date.

Hi, due to illness I was unable to visit my post office last week. However, I have just noticed that the funds have been released and are now available in my balance as of today (13 days after dispatch). This is despite the fact that the item is still not showing as "delivered".
Despite this delay, it's reassuring to know eBay doesn't withhold the money indefinitely (although I will still query the issue tomorrow morning with my local post office and see if they can edit the tracking from their end).
