Hello, just a question regarding some trousers I bought from America. Although listed as new, they have lasted one day and the coating is cracking and peeling off wherever there is movement such as the knees. So if I return the item will I get a full refund, postage was about $30 item was $60 and I had to pay vat on top. Will I get fully refunded all that plus my postage to send them back? I also do not have a printer so can I simply go to royal mail and send them back that way?
Just a refund would be cheaper for the seller but they are not responding to my messages.

eBay would instruct the seller to pay the cost of return but they cannot enforce it with overseas sellers. You would get a full refund of your original payment and postage though.
If you escalate your "not as described" return case (after 3 complete working days) ebay may force a refund without return.

Thank you for the reply. The seller ignored me so I filed a return and when I completed it a message came up and said I did not need to return the item. Unsure if ebay or the seller paid me but I'm glad I don't have to send it back, it would only increase costs anyway.

That's good. eBay probably got the money back from the seller as they ignored your request.
