I sent my return off but I keep getting notified that I still need to post the item. The return section on eBay hasn't updated and it's getting close to the final date as to when I needed to send it off by. I'm getting concerned that eBay will close my request and I'll be left with no refund or item. How long does it usually take for it to update?

Have you physically added the tracking to the case?

It doesn't always automatically update so you meya need to add the number yourself.

I can't see an option to add anything to it. I've got the proof of postage slip I got from the post office.

Which device or browser are you using?

If using the app or mobile browser they sometimes misbehave, throwing up glitches,  and  not giving you all the options you need.

If using those,   switch if you can to a laptop / PC and use Chrome,  try adding those tracking details from there.

Once that shows delivered to the seller,  if they do not refund in 48 hours,  it is timed to the very second,  then you need to escalate, ask eBay to step in.  The option will not appear until exactly 2  x  24 hours have passed.

I checked the desktop site and the tracking number is there but it still says dispatch by the 21st which I did.
