Returns process broken

I bought an item that was poor quality so negotiated a return. I had to pay for postage. I sent the item. It was delivered to the returns address provided by the seller. Ebay emails me every day reminding me to return it and I can't log the tracking details on the website because eBay has wrecked the postage part of its website. Anyone know if there are any humans still working at eBay who I can Chat with to get them to acknowledge the return has happened?

You'll need to contact CS and explain what has happened here.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

The item should have been sent back via an eBay return, and the seller should have provided a tracked return label.

If you sent it back outside of eBay, and the tracking status is now showing as delivered, you can contact eBay and let them have the tracking number, they can then check it and release your refund.

I’ve found that the easiest route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below where you can request a call back:
