Hi there - on March 21st I purchased an action figure for £14.06 with the understanding that returns were not allowed. An hour or so later, I happened to speak to the person who I was buying it for, and they said they had already got the figure in their collection. I contacted the seller on the very same day saying the order was made by mistake and could the order be cancelled. Ebay said I would have to wait 3 days until the seller responded. On 24th March I received an email from Ebay saying the order could not be cancelled because it was too late. The packaged was shipped some days ago and today I got it from Evri - I have not opened the box.
Please tell me what I can do in this instance - do I contact the seller directly, or ring up Ebay and ask them what to do?
Many thanks,
Gavin.

Only business sellers are obliged to accept "change of mind" returns or cancellations, private sellers are not. You could resell it yourself.
