Returning an item. I bough

I bought a steel spring but unfortunately it was the wrong size. I started an eBay return but postage required was three times the amount needed so I just posted it myself at the P.O. I haven’t heard anything back from seller and I can’t alter the eBay return to say I have returned it.

You need to enter the tracking number of the item returned into your case details.  Once received the seller has 3 days to refund you,  if they don't escalate to eBay , they step in and force the refund.

You will only receive back what you originally paid for the item, any excess postage you yourself, paid, is not enforceable for the seller to refund.
