Return item incorrectly described

Hello

I bought an item which was very clearly not as described but  seller rejected return and eBay closed the case. 
The item was described in listing as 3/8” but is 1/4” even printed on item 1/4”!

A seller cannot reject or close a case for item not as described,  that is,  one opened for Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.

Did you open the wrong case,  or perhaps you did not escalate in time, the seller has 3 days to refund you if not, you ask eBay to step in and they force the refund,  do nothing, and the case will close from inactivity.
