What’s the point of ebay having a form to claim back the cost of unused simple delivery labels, to then just completely ignore the request?
I put 2 refund requests in to refund an unused label, both within the 14 day time limit. Never even got acknowledgement of the requests and both were completely ignored.

Did you have free postage on those listings?
If you don't use the Simple Delivery label provided, you or your buyer will be refunded, depending on who paid for postage.

I paid postage as seller. Didnt use label because it didnt cover the actual amount required. Post office couldnt adjust the postage label to cover extra cost. So I paid for new postage.
Ebay wouldnt let me cancel label so i put refund request in. Then put in another request a week later because I forgot I'd already put one in.
No response to either request and no refund.

So nobody knows why ebay ignores refund requests?

Did you add the tracking number though, and does it show delivery?
To process your refund, we'll verify the following:
If your request meets all these conditions, you'll receive a refund for the shipping cost.

I had tracking number and gave it to buyer. Couldn't change tracking number that ebay gave me but have informed them of new tracking number in my refund request. Tracking number shows delivery and buyer has left positive feedback for the sale. Still no refund and no response from ebay.

You need a tracking number added to the order to show delivery, that's likely the issue here.

Tried that at the time but the system wouldnt let me add the tracking number.

Which item/items are you trying to get a refund for?
The only recent sale you have made with free postage shown was the beer mat on 2nd June.
All of your other recent sales show a postage cost to the buyer.
For you to get a refund for an unused SD label, the listing has to be free postage/seller pays, otherwise, the buyer pays postage directly to Ebay and the buyer is refunded when the label is not used.
Even if you don't use the label and pay to post the item, unless you have paid Ebay for the SD label, they won't refund you.

Yes, beer mat, thats the listing.

I don't understand why you put in 2 requests but, it is well over the 14 days now. It may be because the form was incomplete without valid tracking?
Maybe try contacting Ebay Customer services, explain the issue and have a polite but forceful moan about how this did not work for you.
They may give you a refund.
Worth a try. If you don't get a refund, you may get an explanation why you didn't get refunded.
