Releasing funds

I had a dispute due to buyers item going missing , tracking number was obtained, eBay put funds on hold , all is sorted with buyer being refunded with eBay’s help , and myself putting in a claim from Royal Mail, however funds have not been released and now eBay are going to take money from my bank for the refund , surely this is not right , how long does it take for funds to be released after a dispute has been resolved, thanks

You say eBay have already refunded the buyer?  Then, eBay would have taken the money from your pending funds for the item and not your bank.

When you say, buyer refunded with ebay’s help, I hope you do not mean you did not refund yourself, as if buyer has to ask ebay for help you get a defect on your account.

Check your seller dashboard, as defects can be very damaging for sellers.

No I refunded with eBay’s help , for some reason I couldn’t do the refund , all sorted now , thanks for your help
