Hello i bought a product from a seller called and in a years time we encountered a problem with the product, with the one year warranty on the product the seller advised us to send the item back to them in which we did,

Then they told us that they couldnt fix it or send us a new one after we sent the item they told us that we have had the product for 90 days therefore they cant give us a refund telling us this after we have already sent back the product

You can't do anything through Ebay.

Contact the seller and ask them to return your item.

Doubt there is much you can do now over warranty period, but you could contact citizens Advice to see if they have any suggestions.

Promised warranties are often worthless on eBay, it's one of the most frequently asked questions here. eBay's own money back guarantee only lasts for 30 days, after that they have no interest.

eBay warns buyers in the user agreement that sellers' descriptions may not be truthful, so they should know the risks of buying here. Buying from strangers on eBay is not like buying from thse shops.
