When is Ebay to change the delivery time for second class postage, as it is now taking 5-12 working days to deliver and most of us are suffering this, when Ebay state 2-3 days.

RM are only delivering 2nd class mail every other day, no Saturdays.

Have you read this from Ebay at the top of the posts in the forum?  It gives details, advice and states what action Ebay plan to take.

RM have already started this new system.

It also seems to applied to parcels as well.

I ordered an item last Tuesday, that was posted same day, 

R M tracking shows due for delivery next Tuesday.

Check again........some of our RM economy 2nd class is taking 5-13 days  !!

Its about time ebay altered the 2nd class delivery times on their listings...........customers expect it the truth......it never is

On the link I sent you, Ebay suggest helpful steps you can take.  They say:  Choose Royal Mail 2nd Class Letter (not the generic “Royal Mail 2nd Class”)

So, for example, your item number 353915813904 costs the buyer £1 postage which I assume means it is sent as a Second Class letter but you haven't made the suggested change on that listing.

Maybe if you made the changes suggested by Ebay, your EDDs would be amended accordingly.

Personally (and I am a small scale seller who posts maybe 5 or 6 items a week) I have not had any issues this year with late RM deliveries.

And, posting shouty comments that will not be read by Ebay in a member to member forum doesn't really get anything done.
