You can try your payment provider and start a chargeback on the grounds that you have bought an item online and it is not as described.

RC battery returns

Was this a Business Seller, as I would not expect a Private seller to be selling this sort of thing.

Business sellers have to accept returns for any reason the only difference being that you would have to pay return postage as does not fit is classed as a Change of Mind return.

If the sale I have seen is the one you bought, then it is  a business seller and should not have been able to close the return. If I am right you should be able to report the seller.

You are not allowed to name other members in here so your post may be moderated.

The seller is registered as a private seller - really, when buying a new item like that, you would probably be better to choose a business seller so you can return the item for any reason.

As soon as you choose the reason that it didn't fit, that was counted as a change of mind return which a private seller can refuse.

Okay but it was advertised wrongly so it is still a false advertisement so it should never have been up for sale in the first place I know I put it did not fit but I am severely disabled and do get confused I have been on eBay for years and never had a problem like this where I am unable to return an item that was displayed wrongly

The system is automated so, because of the reason you entered, the seller was able to refuse the return.

Use the link below to speak to Ebay Customer Services.  Do this in the morning when you are most likely to get the Dublin call centre as they are the most helpful.

Explain what happened and that you gave the wrong reason for opening a return.

I don't know if they will help you, but it is worth a shot.

Otherwise, as I said, your payment provider may be able to help.
