Purchase not in Purchase History

Thanks to Jckl1957 for his previous advice. The order acknowledgment I received came to my normal email that I use for eBay, thus I don't understand why it has not appeared in my purchase history? Any ideas how I can raise this, and the seller's failure to reply, with eBay please if it is not in my purchase history, despiye having an order number? Thanks.

Sounds as though you bought when not logged in which means you bought as a guest. This will not appear in your purchases, all you will have is an email from ebay confirming purchase.

The seller will not know who you are as simonwelch1 will not show as the buyer so  any communicating must be done through the email. 

I assume ebay invents a buyer ID in these circumstances.
