Product safety recall

I bought an item in March which is now saying theres a safety recall. The seller wont take it back. 

They offered me 50% but the product is unsafe apparently so I cant use it..

Sorry but there's nothing you an do via ebay.    Even in this situation their  deadline for claims is still 30 days.   Try contacting your  payment provider, you may still be in time for a refund or chargeback.
