Hi received an email from
ebay regarding a product recall on an item I brought quite a while back.
states eBay is committed to safety bla bla then states I should contact seller to reach a resolution, The seller is no coming up or note saying item no longer listed try for alternatives.
what do I do here. Do I have buyer protection for this ?

You don't have buyer protection.
Ebay give you 30 days to open a case and return a faulty item.
They have to inform you if there is a product recall.
Once they have informed you, it is between you and the seller.
