Postage

Good Afternoon,

Private Seller - Postage charges to buyers for items under £10 and under 100g. As sellers were previously advised listed items under this category have been listed with a postage price of 1.70 or £0.87.

 For some unknown reason EBay have now gone into my account and reset postage costs on a few items to SD charges when they clearly qualify for Custom Postage. When attempting to relist or revise the items in question, the option for Custom Postage is not on the screen and is impossible to reset, resulting in my having to end listings in an effort not to overcharge buyers for postage. Even after having done this, it is impossible to relist under CP.

Are other sellers experiencing problems?

Yep,  they are.  Many are waking up to see their item automatically changed to SD,  but with incorrect postage added.

It' s a faff and a pain,  but hopefully once done,  the next time you come to list / relist,  as your items fall under the required  price / weight for Simple Delivery, ( lucky you ! 😊 ),  then custom postage,  after I think you need to add the price of the item,  will show for you.

Thank you for your reply, but I don’t get it.

have just attempted to list an item for £8.00 Buy It Now, weighing only 88g, so qualifies here in UK for Custom Postage rate,  exempt from SD as previously advised by EBay. On my screen there is no Custom Postage option visible!
Are the rules now changing, as I have complied re SD charges for all other applicable items.
