Poor buying experience from 34,000 buyers

I have just had a second purchase refunded though a current listing.

seller both times stated book was late when I opened a request and that I should wait 5 more days and that I should close my" item not received case", not on your nelly ,wobl.i looked at sellers feed back 35,000 negative reviews many stating similar experiences.

Is there  no further action that can be taken I'm off to citizens advice next week .but surely Ebay should be aware.

I am not sure what you are going to ask Citizens Advice to do.

If you don't receive an item, you have 30 days to open a case using the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and get a full refund.

Of course, for most sellers, that number of negatives would be a disaster but you are talking about a mega seller, with 98.5% positive feedback and over 38.5 million sales.  Of course Ebay are aware of the negatives this seller receives but the vast majority of their millions of buyers are satisfied with their purchases.

Re: Poor buying experience from 34,000 buyers

The fact that this seller is listing items with no intention of posting
them is against the u.k.law I now also notice that the seller has two shops
on Ebay.i.e 2 lots of feedback.
Also are you a representative of Ebay,? if so do you encourage sellers
trying to persuade there buyers to close open item not received cases.
I know I will receive my payment but no apology, no reason given this
time.
the fact remains the seller lied not only to me but many many others.
You are either with me or again me .
Do not try to discourage me from seeking legal help and saving other buyers
from disappointment and possibly fraud.
Yours faithfully

I am not a representative of Ebay, no.

If it is the seller you left the latest negative for (apologies if it is a different seller) I had a quick look through their negative feedback (12,612 this year, so I don't know where your figure of 35K  - it could be 34K, you use one figure in the title and a different one in the body of your text - comes from) and did not see any that made the same complaint as you.

Anyway, good luck with whatever action you take.
