Morning I purchased this order in February 2025. As I have just recovered from two major operations. I was so looking forward to braiding my hair just to feel and look a little better within my self and appearance. Well on the 18/06/2025 I managed to find the strength and time with a little help to braid my hair. I prepared the hair by washing and drying it. Once it was dry we started braiding. By this time we noticed a lot of shedding and intangible hair. On the night of completion the hair started to itch like mad. In all my years of braids I have never experienced any thing like this. Day 2 passed and the itching continued . It continued up until I was forced to take it out on yesterday 23/06/2025. This has left my scalp feeling very sore with hair bumps. I have done a real hair test and to my surprise and disappointment the hair is plastic. It smells of plastic and burns like plastic. I am so disappointed and that you would sent me a product that isn’t fit for human beings. I am no left with a sensitive scalp. Please have the manners to reply back with a solution to this nightmare. I have all the evidence and will send you a video of the reminding of the hair. I have contacted the seller they told me to contact eBay.

You are not contacting Ebay - this is a member to member forum and your complaint will be read by other buyers and sellers like you, not Ebay.
Ebay allow you to open a claim and return items for 30 days only after purchase. Unfortunately you are too late to do this and too late to leave negative feedback for this seller.

I'm afraid they have misinformed you. eBay's own money back guarantee only lasts for 30 days, after which they will not get involved, whatever the problem.
eBay make it clear that other than for the 30 day guarantee listings are the entire responsibility of the seller. They also warn buyers that "eBay does not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of descriptions". I doubt whether you would have bought this from a shop that stated this, so it's important to be aware of the risks of buying from unknown sellers here.
Your best hope is that your payment provider (e.g. credit or debit card issuer) may still be able to help, if that's how you paid.
A very important question 1s whether the seller is registered in the UK, or abroad (often China)? If in the UK, you should have some statutory consumer right and can also report your expecience to trading standards. Citizens Advice will be able to offer guidance, or there is plenty or info. online.
If the seller is in China the above will not apply. Unfortunately there are longstanding concerns over the safety of many items from China, which often don't meet UK safety requirements.
