Photo is not the Actual item selling

Has anyone else noticed that many items on Ebay are not the actual photo! I am getting fed up of Ebay sellers conning us....I bought a pair of expensive joggers because the photo was the exact pair I already have so I know they are right for me...The seller sent me a different pair and said they were very similar!  Then I bought Yardley hand creme...the pic showed the original wonderful Yardley packaging before Yardley changed the smell around 8 tears ago to something awful ....and yes you guessed it, the Ebay shop sent me a modern version with completely different packaging to what was shown! Ebay when are you going to get a grip and deal with these annoying sellers! Just make it clear...show the actual item you are selling or get kicked out of Ebay! Bloody con artists if you ask me! Too many these days so I am buying less and less from this site!

Yep pure laziness, and some seller just use the eBay library of photos , which is fine if the item is brand new and Exactly the same as the photos.

If you receive an item not as described,  it does have to match the photos not just description, then open that case for item not as described.  If cases are escalated,  the seller receive a defect on their account these can add up to selling sanctions,  even bans.

If item does not match photos or description,

You open item not as described case, seller provides returns label, you return for refund.

If lots of buyers do this, ebay will eventually take action.

Ebay never see item, so unless buyers open cases, they won't know there is an issue.
