Pay back VAT

I bought a product from Germany to Sweden as a company. Could I get refunded for the VAT? I have a valid VAT-number.

You're in Sweden and your buyer was in Germany, so for questions about VAT you need to ask the tax authorities in your own country.

No, you bought ON ebay.co.uk.  You bought FROM a seller in Germany.

So you say I need to contact the seller that sold on ebay.co.uk?

The seller has nothing to do with you paying Vat.

You need to contact your own tax people.

 Here is what the Swedish tax office says. So I should not have to pay VAT since I have a valid VAT registration number. Ebay and/or the seller should know this. The question is only if the seller is a company or a private person selling, and I don't know that.
