Paid but me & seller has had no confirmation!

Brought something today & used pay in 3 through PayPal.

money is pending going out of my bank

I have received no confirmation from eBay & neither has the seller - the listed item is still active!

on PayPal it jast gives a transaction code but don’t say what the item is

Help!! x

Thank you for your post.

I would normally advise to double check if your either you had used another eBay account or if it was a guest checkout. However if the item is still active and the seller had no confirmation on their side its unlikely the transaction actually went through. When that happens the pending charges usually reverse back into your account.  We don't have a way to know what would have happened at the time the checkout took place.

If you wanted to try to purchase the item again I would advise to do a clear of cache and cookies and double check that all your payment methods are set up correctly.

If you only bought it this morning it's too early to panic yet. PayPal payments normally go through raight away, but perhaps there's a time lag when using pay in three.

To ask the obvious, I take it that you paid through eBay's checkout, and not as a guest, and didn't pay the seller direct outside of eBay? Also that you meet the criteria for eligibility set out in the pay in three FAQ.

By the end of the day I would expect PP's system to provide more complete information on the transaction. If it doesn't, phone their cusromer support.
