POTENTIAL SCAMMER

I just wanted to warn everybody about a trader who goes under the name of **** what they do is take your order and money then give it a tracking number with the order number as well. Everything is fine so far, then you get an email saying that its been delivered. The way they do it is send another genuine order with my details but another persons address .The problem starts now, because the seller won't respond to any messages. Then you get eBay involved but the seller provides a successful delivery invoice. The eBay policy means that you aren't protected under the money back policy and eBay  themselves refund you, this means you cannot leave negative feedback. I hope this helps, as they had £73.91 off of me.

Is there any detailed tracking there?

Surely if the address is nowhere near yours then you should win an item not received eBay appeal.

If you paid with a debit or credit card you can issue a not received chargeback if you can show that the delivery address wasn't yours, or did eBay refund you out of their own coffers? If they did, they will likely chase the seller for that.

Hi Vyolla, I absolutely agree with you, but two ebay agents agreed that the details shown on their system showed the  incorrect postcode, and the courier photos showed a small package and I ordered a large water feature. As you know ebay are reluctant to challenge rogue sellers/buyers and they paid me out themselves when I appealed, thus I lose the right to post negative feedback.
