PayPal Payment not released

Hello, I purchased an item & payed via PayPal, the seller then said he could deliver the item instead of posting, which suited me fine. I have the item & very pleased but the seller doesn’t have the PayPal payment. How do I mark the item as received so the seller gets paid? Thanks for any help

You cannot do anything from your end except to leave feedback and if the item 's value is under £25, the seller's payout will be released sooner.

Items listed as collection items when purchased the buyer receives a 6 digit QR code, handing this to the seller is the only proof they have  the item was collected,  and the payout is released. 

You will not have this code as it was listed as a postal item.

Hi, thank you for your reply. It sounds like the seller just has to wait for PayPal funds to be released? The item was over £25, do you know how long he needs to wait?

I have already left positive feedback so hopefully he won’t have to wait too long.

With no tracking to show delivery as this was hand delivered,  the payout will be held for 14 days.
