Ordering from the UK to ship to Europe.

I'm trying to buy an item in the UK, I am in Austria. The seller's settings include shipping to Austria, but when I click on Buy Now, it tells me the seller doesn't ship to Austria. The seller has been trying everything, I double check my shipping address, nothing works. I get the same from two other UK sellers of the same item. Very confused!

Does the seller quote a shipping cost to Austria, as without cost of postage, buyers cannot pay.

If shipping is quoted, then I suggest you ask seller to put you on  their exemption list which might solve the problem.

Thank you. The problem was on my end. I use ebay in multiple countries, one
user Profile, one password. I had to make sure I was logged in via the .at
site, but even that was weird. I ultimately got it to work. VAT is another
story! Thanks for your suggestions.
