I bought an iPhone in September but it was not delivered eventually got a refund from eBay. Bought another iPhone in October - the same thing has happened. The tracking details says it is still at the sorting office. Still waiting for a refund. This seems very suspicious to me. Bought a iad for my other half and received that no problem.

There is a current scam involving electronic items sold at too good to be true prices at around £750.

The scam is on ebay though as buyers who use the money back guarantee will get a refund.

Think carefully before buying a third! Buying anything on eBay carries risks - buying high priced phones especially.

I take it you're aware that eBay's money back guarantee only lasts for 30 days? So no help from eBay from day 31 if it proves to be faulty, counterfeit or is reported stolen. Sellers own guarantees often prove to be worthless and even manufacturers' warranties are liable to be invalid for items bought on eBay.

So is the seller the scammer - presumably they have the money I paid for the phone. I just want a phone. All my phones and iPads plus those for my other half I have bought secondhand on eBay with no problems.
