New seller

As a new seller ebay hold my funds for 2 weeks. Can anyway tell me how long this goes on for or is it until i get a certain amount of feedback or a certain amount of money from selling? I've tried to find out on other threads but not found the actual answer.

It is impossible to give a time, but in general a seller needs at least 10 feedback so that the star ratings show. Potential buyers can see for themselves how a seller performs. Until the DSRs show only ebay know whether the seller has a good record on the 4 categories that get rated by buyers.

Have you verified your identity as a seller etc, Registering as a seller | eBay

Always look to post out using a trackable  delivery service as this can also release payment holds when items show as delivered.

Once you become a more established seller,the payment holds will no longer be applicable in most cases.
