New postage arrangements.

I sell stamps on Ebay. I don't want to use the new simple postage system which we, apparently, can't opt out of from 15th April.

Most items are small and fit easily into an envelope and can go 2nd class, especially for low value items. Also we can use stamps for the postage. If we have to add the postage rate (over£2) this will discourage buyers, and to offer free postage means I am charged the postage which may well be more than the item is worth. For more expensive items, I want to choose the postage method, e.g. Signed for or Special delivery.

Why are we being forced to use a new system which may work for parcels but is not suitable for stamps.

New postage arrangements.

I understand for low value items under £10, we will be able to avoid “simple”, but cannot see any way round for more expensive items.

If using auctions, I have seen nothing to explain what happens when a low value item sells for a lot more, and ebay starts dictating the postage terms.

When “Simple” as with most of ebays money making schemes(for them of course) has a Glitch the whole system will collapse and the sooner the better.
