Is it not ILLEGAL for anyone to put "seller doesnt accept returns"??
I always thought under the distance selling regulations that if item not suitable then you could return and get your refund. Not to mention the sale of goods act!!! This person has accused me of bullying her??? Staggering!!! Come on ebay, go back to the Ebay of old where we had at least a chance of getting a fair play!!

You don't need to speak to eBay. What was the seller's returns policy in the listing?
If they don't accept returns, end of story. You accepted this when you bought it. An item "being unsuitable" for you would be a change of mind, which sellers (apart from UK business sellers) are not required to accept.
If the seller stated that they accept returns eBay will require them to honour this. Open a formal return request through eBay. If the seller refuses to accept it you can ask eBay to change the request to a money back guarantee vase, which the seller can't refuse.

If you bought from a private seller, and you want to return the item because you don't like it, the seller can refuse the return and close the case.
When you buy online, from a private seller (not a business), the seller is entitled to have a 'no returns' policy. It would have stated this on the listing.
Don't exchange any more messages with the seller if they are being nasty.
You could always try and sell the item yourself.

Unless seller is a business seller, private sellers do not have to accept returns for the reason you have stated and any case opened will just close.
Speaking to ebay will not change anything, “unsuitable or uncomfortable “ is interpreted as a change of mind return, and only a business seller has to accept returns for any reason.

As has been pointed out, only business sellers have to accept change of mind returns.
DSR do not apply to private sellers.
You bought from seller, not ebay.
