My account is restricted

Hi all my account is restricted as they say I have another account but I can’t get access to the other account what do I do I’ve sold lots of items an have money in my account but can’t sell anything or remove my funds

If the other account has restrictions then this account will gain the same restrictions.

We have no access to your account but can see from your feedback profile that you have returned after a long break from selling have you fully registered with eBay's Managed Payments?  Sometimes eBay messages do not paint the full picture, and if you haven't correctly registered then this too can restrict your account.

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services,  who have full access to your account,  and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

They are saying that they have sent me an email MC011 but I’ve not received anything

They often say they have done things and haven't!

If your account has been suspended then there is no point contacting ebay as they won't deal with it,you have to use the MC011 email you received to try and resolve any issues. If you haven't received the MC011 email,and checked your spam folder for it, then you can contact ebay to clarify.
