I have an Item that has been bought by Buy it now, yet there has been no notification that the item was bought, no email, no messages in my account, So the order is now late for dispatch, I did receive the your item is late for dispatch e-mail, Normally I get notification when the auction ends, but nothing with Buy It Now? is this normal? I am concerned this is a scam as it's a very expensive item, eBay does say they are holding the funds in my account, but it seems strange I have no messages about the item other than late dispatch?
I have received a messages from the buyer asking when he will receive it, and have replied apologising I was not made aware the sale had gone through.
