So...some of my listings have variations.
Usually a buyer selects from a drop down menu.
The other day I noticed that instead of a drop down menu I have a selection of 'tiles'(photos) travelling left to right instead of a drop down menu (Top to Bottom)
Mentioned it to customer service who suggested that if I go to settings and select default photos instead of colour it should solve the issue . That got rid of the tiles but it didn't help the buyer select a colour. So I had to upload all the options/photos again.
Customer assistance said he would report it as an issue.
Brilliant - everything went back to normal until today when the itsy teeny weeny tiles appeared again. Anyone on a mobile phone would not have been able to determine the colours from the photos as they are just sooooo small.
I remember an article suggested by eBay that we have to remember that a high % of buyers use their mobile. Well bottom line is - this will make it impossible.
And while I'm at it...I have a private eBay account. Since the simple delivery - as they call it- things have gone to the dogs. I noticed when sending a message to a buyer this message was already there ("Your buyer has reached out about their order. Since you used Simple Delivery, we'll work with your buyer directly on any delivery related questions."
What ?- it's been delivered and feedback received. Customer service tell me it's automatic. I told them it was false information as the buyer hadn't said a word!
That's my moan for today.
